About Me

I graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 1980 with a PhD in physiological and experiential psychology. Right after graduation, I attended NYU in a post doctoral program for clinical psychology. This allowed me to begin practicing psychology combining both the biological basis of behavior with clinical practice. I expanded on this training by working at Fair Oaks Hospital as a clinical psychologist on their adult unit.
I have a private practice in Bloomfield, NJ, right on the border of Glen Ridge, Montclair, Clifton, Verona and Nutley. I have lived nearby for many years where my husband and I raised our two children. While maintaining my practice I also served as a Board of Education member on the board of the town’s Education Foundation and served in other town groups. At the beginning of my career, I was also an Associate Professor of Psychology at Seton Hall University.
